After the past four years of ethical consumerism it is quite rare that I add a 'new' edition to my wardrobe. Most of my wardrobe editions come from thrift stores or second hand websites so when Jenah St. a beautiful vegan bag brand offered me a Backpack shopper - I could never resist!
Jenah St. aim to be 100% plant based and circular which I love and all their bags are made from environmentally friendly materials. These include materials like AppleSkin and organic cotton and are all high quality and well made.
I am slightly skeptical about 'vegan' bags as often they are made from stiff low quality plastic; so when I received my backpack shopper in Python (part of the Imperfect sale) I was pleasantly surprised.
The material feels and looks quite similar to real leather with a soft high quality finish. It was clearly well made and are created by European craftsmen in Italy and Portugal.
All their products are designed to be stylish and classic along with functional so that they are able to be a wardrobe staple.
The size of the Backpack shopper means that it makes a really good as a weekend bag which is brill for me as I love a weekend away. It also is great to take to the market on a Saturday with the sturdy straps and ability to leave the top open or tied up.
