We all know by now how I feel about Love Lula Boxes, and I bloody well love them. Especially this one that was sent out this August. I have been on this ethical beauty journey for over three years now and I feel like I am finally settling into it.
I find it easy to find brands that support my values and a key part of that in the beginning was ethical beauty boxes like this. They helped introduce me to new products and new brands for a fraction of the price. Obviously there is a risk of not liking the products but you can get that even when you are buying anything new.
I loved Augusts Love Lula box so much as it contained some of my favorite organic beauty brands. I mentioned on my Instagram that I am starting to move towards organic only skincare and makeup products so it was nice to get these goodies from Inika and MADARA.
I have wanted to try the Inika Primer for about 6 months and as it usually goes for around £30 so I was made up (the box costs £14.59). I am not that into primer but I have wanted to try this one as I love Inika and I am having issues with my foundation staying on.
The box this month also contained the MADARA stem cell facial SPF which I am excited to try. Madara is another one of my favorite ethical beauty brands and you can read a full review of some of their other products here.
Some other products that are in the box for August was the FOM London cleanser which I have never tried anything from and the laid bear facial tanner. Self tanner is one area that I still struggle to find ethical products so I am looking forward to trying this one!
