What I Have Been Buying Recently - Sustainable Edit

Taking it back to basics on my blog today I wanted to showcase some of my recent purchases (and gifts) that I have been enjoying.

As we move into June it feels like Summer is finally here. I recently bought some lovely bits from one of my favorite sustainable brands Arnhem. The ones I particularly wanted to highlight are this stunning Jasmine Cami in Pearl (which I will be wearing with jeans) and this sweet little sewing kit. The sewing kit is going straight in my handbag for emergencies and is giving me serious cottage core vibes - I'm in love already!

Originally I bought the sewing kit as I didn't want to pay $50 in postage from Arnhem and it was one of the cheapest things on the website. I never thought about getting one before to carry with me - but I really love it. Will keep you all updated if I use it!

Something else I have been loving these past months is the new hydrating gel cream from Sukin. This has quite bad reviews online but I have really enjoyed it. Originally it came in a Love Lula beauty box and I thought I would give it a go. I have been using it after a shower at night and have seen a big difference in my skin. People online said that it leaves a residue on the skin, but this is meant to last 72 hours. personally I recommend using it at night and then it doesn't matter.

Next is a gift from my Gran and Granddad and they gave me some lovely make up brushes as a little gift. These are from No7 and are stunning! I really needed some more brushes...which I don't think they knew - but I always resent buying them ha ha! Really happy so far and they are cruelty free ... well done Granny!

Last but not least,  I recently bought an OS map for my trip to Snowdonia - and my dad gave me a compass. Since we are all trapped like rats this Summer I want to spend as much time as possible in the outdoors, hiking and learning to map read better...watch this space.
