With a second lock-down looming, supporting local businesses is more important than ever. With that in mind here are my list of the top places to buy locally made masks and hand sanitizer... oh yeh and they are stylish too!
Supporting local businesses stimulates the economy and keeps local people in work. It also supports SMEs which are the backbone of communities. Sustainable and ethical consumerism first means buying local and supporting local people. This ensures that your goods were produced ethically here in the UK and, at the very least, you reduce the air miles. Even if a garment or mask is made ethically but then you ship it from Asia, it looses its sustainability in a sense. Buying local is therefore one of the most essential things we must do in terms of reducing environmental pollution and exploitative labor.
