Typology Skincare Review - My First Impressions

It has been a hot second since I have reviewed any skincare! Mainly because I have been sticking to my main 3 products for the last 6 months and not wanting to spend money on anything new that might potentially not work.

However, I decided after the last few months of using only three skincare products that it was potentially time to try some new products. My main goal was keeping moisture in my skin over the winter as I tend to get very dry skin and hair during the colder months.

I have been aware of typology for a while but I have never really heard anything much about their products. I knew they are all about minimalism from their branding and marketing to their list of ingredients they like to keep it simple. They are a French brand which explains their beautiful design and they are also vegan, cruelty free and use a large number of natural and organic products which is perfect for my sensitive skin.

1. Tanned complexion Serum

This isn't a self tanner rather a blend of plant extracts that promise to enhance your skins radiance. It is naturally derived and certified organic which I love and is not the same colour once rubbed in! I bought this as my skin goes very pale in winter and I wanted something to brighten it up for spring. I haven't noticed a huge difference as of yet but I love the smell and texture. I am considering saving for the summer months when I am not inside for most of the day...

2. Hydrating Serum 3% Hyaluronic Acid 2% B5

I am in love with this! It is by far the best Hyaluronic Acid I have ever used and I am obsessed. It holds moisture very well and isn't tacky and has sat well under make up. My only issue is I bought the small bottle to try it and next time it will have to be the large one!

94% natural, vegan and made in France.

3. Hydrolat De Fleurs

Made from organic orange blossom this was the one I really wanted to try. I don't use toner and I had seen a lot of praise for this online so I thought I would give it a go. Personally I did not think much of the smell, it could be beautiful and I am in love with orange blossom but I think the alcohol in it is a little strong. I haven't seen results yet but may change my mind!

99% naturally derived ingredients certified organic

4. Tinted Lip and Cheek Balm 1

I received this as a free gift with purchase but I have been quite keen to try some of Typologies make up range. They seem to be quite subtle and I was keen to try them as my potential everyday make up. Free of mineral oils, silicones and fragrance the minimal packaging hides a beautiful product. I love this tint! It is the first time I have ever used one and I am very happy with the pigment, application and feel of the product on both lips and cheeks. I feel that this would be perfect for an English rose make up look...

97% natural, vegan and made in France.
