The 5 British Outfit Staples You Need To Invest In - Slow Fashion Edit

1. Beige  Fedora

A beautiful Summer addition to any country outfit - as long as it isn't too hot! A fedora goes with any outfit and can be a great transition piece to wear in both Spring and Autumn when the weather starts to cool.

2. White linen shirt

A beautiful edition to any summer wardrobe a good linen shirt looks perfect with chinos or a tweed skirt. The Finer Horse has beautiful white cotton shirts if you are not a fan of linen.

3. White or cream shorts

Perfect for layering or pairing with a blazer these are something I have wanted to invest in for a while. Sometimes, when the temperature creeps up tweed or denim just wont do! These are a great wardrobe staple and I have seen people like Anna Bey give some goof styling tips.

4. Tweed Skirt

Yes I know this was mentioned in my Autumn winter staples... I just cant think of a time I wouldn't want to wear one.

5. Mac or trench coat

Not exclusively a British item of clothing but worn often through the year in hot and cold weather.
